Balikpapan Underground Community (B.U.C) adalah salah satu nama bendera pergerakan komunitas music underground di kota metropolitan Balikapapan yang mengakar pada konsep EXTREME METAL MUSIC SCENE dengan merangkul beragam individu – individu yang berkecimpung di dalamnya baik Death, Black, Gothic, Thrash. Berbaur menjadi satu dalam serambi se-permetalan tanpa adanya unsur-unsur diskriminasi antara senior – junior – metal tua – metal pemula dan keberadaannya (eksistensi) pun, telah di segani didaratan extreme metal scene di Kalimantan Timur.

Sebenarnya saya sendiri tidak tau persisnya kapan spirit – spirit kegilaan B.U.C di kumandangkan sebagai bentuk perlawanan terhadap symbol – symbol kemapanan kalangan pengikut trend (mainstream) dimulai dari beberapa tahapan pencarian, penelusuran, menuju pembenaran yang bersumber dari individu – individu yang sangat berpengaruh didalamnya serta dari sudut pandang saya sendiri tentunya, saya mencoba menggali walaupun tidak secara mendasar/detail untuk dapat memapankan proses awal perjalanan panjang dengan segala macam bentuk hujatan, hinaan, caci maki, yang turut setia menyertai yang saat itu hanya di pandang sebelah mata oleh kalangan masyarakat awam (mayoritas) “Support The True Your Movement Extreme Metal Scene”.

Sekitar pertengahan 2003, bertempat di pelataran centralnya pusat perbelanjaan kalangan mainstream di Balikpapan Plaza Centre (BC) yang letaknya di tengah – tengah Gemuruh keramaian kota. Ketika individu – individu yang disetiap sel darahnya mengalir dan terkontaminasi virus extreme metal akut, saling bertemu, saling kenal, saling mengakrabkan diri antara satu individu dengan individu lainnya adalah bentuk moment yang sangat menyenangkan dan takkan pernah terlupakan, “SEKEDAR NONGKRONG NYANTAI SAMBIL MEMANJAKAN PANDANGAN MENATAPI CEWE – CEWE SEXY LALU LALANG SILIH BERGANTI YANG SENGAJA MENGEKPLOITASI KEINDAHAN TUBUHNYA LEWAT KETOLOLAN SEBUAH FASHION DARI SELANGKANGAN MODERNISME/TRENDY”.

Tiap individu, saling berbagi cerita, saling berbagi informasi seputar music underground yang akhirnnya menciptakan rasa kebersamaan, pertemanan didalamnya. Pertemuan semacam itu terus berlanjut di malam berikutnya serta dijadikan agenda rutin atau istilah kerennya disini = “NGEMPER”. ‘Ibarat,sebuah sampan yang terhempas badai ditengah gemerlapnya samudra mainstream untuk mencari tempat berlabuh yang layak dan nyaman’. Lahan ngemper pun terombang ambing/berpindah pindah selain di pelataran BC, terkadang juga memanfaatkan pelataran sebuah toko music underground/MMC (R.I.P) toko yang menyadiakan segala mecam pernak pernik merchandise dunia bawah tanah mulai dari kaos, emblem, sticker, kaset..etc, berlokasi tepat di bersebrangan di depan BC (di samping traffic light) tempat yang sangat, sangat strategis tapi sangat tidak menyenangkan untuk di jadikan lahan ngemper, mengingat antrian kendaraan yang meracuni udara dengan semburan polusinya harus terhenti di lampu merah menanti giliran lampu kembali berganti hijau, sontak puluhan pasang mata dengan tatapan tajam dengan penuh kecurigaan, sinis, negative think telak menelanjangi individu – individu yang serba hitam – hitam, berambut gondrong, dandanan yang terkesan urakan/sangar di tambah lagi dengan kaos-kaos kebanggaan yang di kenakan bergambar garang, sadis cukup membuat shock orang – orang yang masih belum terbiasa melihatnya.

Karna dirasa kurang nyaman belum lagi para preman – preman penghuni lampu merah yang bergentayangan dan kerap berulah!! akhirnya persinggahan tempat ngemper itu pun di tinggalkan, melalui beberapa proses perembukan masing masing individu disertai survei dan pengintain tempat yang layak untuk dijadikan lahan ngemper, muncullah kesepakatan bersama berbasic di pelataran toko elektronik “JAMIN BARU” yang letaknya masih di seputaran kawasan industri ruko pertokoan (klandasan) sebagi zona jajahan baru bagi begundal – begundal Extreme Metal untuk menyalurkan kesamaan hoby/kreatifitas didunia underground yang selalu dipuja – puja atau yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan M-peran.

Dari sinilah perkembangan M-peran yang didominasi kaum hitam-hitam mulai menunjukan tajam taringnya kian hari makin bertambah sesak, semarak dalam satu wadah perjuangan, persamaan selera, rasa peduli tingkat tinggi akan syndrome movement music underground yang pada waktu itu sedang mewabah di setiap pelosok penjuru daerah di tanah air. Ternyata fenomena di M’peran ini membuat segelintir orang merasa teresahkan seperti sebuah mimpi buruk bagi kalangan kalangan yang tidak tahu menahu akan sebuah pergerakan penikmat music cadas dengan latangnya mengatakan, UNDERGROUNDER IDENTIK DENGAN KEKERASAN…!!! JANGAN PERNAH MELIHAT DAN MENILAI SESUATU DARI LUAR ATAU FISIKNYA SAJA!

Belum lagi ketika kami harus beberapa kali berurusan dengan gerombolan oknum aparat yang menyambangi kami serta memperlakukan kami layaknya seorang terroris atau sekumpulan preman/perusuh yang menjadi ajang tontonan gratis khalayak ramai dengan keangkuhan aroganisinya satu persatu kami di geledah, disuruh berderet, wajah menghadap tembok M’peran ruko di sertai terdengarnya suara kokangan senjata dari arah belakang kami yang seolah olah siap memuntahkan butiran – butiran peluru panas sang penguasa wilayah kejadian tersebut, tidak lantas membuat mental kami menjadi kerdil dengan mengatas namakan UNDERGROUND BUKAN KRIMINAL semangat kami pun kian terbakar untuk mengobarkan panji panji kebesaran movement underground music di kota kami agar keberadaanya dapat diterima dimasyarakat luas.

Hingga tepatnya bulan April 2007, terbentuk nama BALIKPAPAN UNDERGROUND COMMUNITY sebagai symbol bendera untuk memperkokoh/memperkuat militan – militan di M’peran dalam menindak lanjuti pembentukan jati diri dalam sebuah scene metal menjadi berkembang dan besar selain memiliki band – band extreme metal didalamnya & sebagai tambahan “BALIKPAPAN HEADBANGERS” dan “BALIKPAPAN METALFEST” adalah event total extreme metal pernah terealisasikan dan akan terus berlanjut di tahun – tahun mendatang. Akhirnya secara keseluruhan atau garis besarnya tulisan ini hanya flashback tentang seluk beluk pergerakan BALIKPAPAN UNDERGROUND COMMUNITY (Scene) dari awal kebangkitannya hingga sampai saat ini masih tetap BERNYAWA dan SURVIVE.

Tujuannya tidak lain hanyalah sebagai wacana pencerahan/pengetahuan akan scene tanpa adanya hal – hal yang di besar besarkan dalam penyampainnya, Cheers and Rebel…!! KEEP EXTREME METAL MUSIC ALIVE!! Mental metal sampai mati, kill the weak..!!!!!!

well,postingan kali ini memang harus dan wajib untuk di publish di blog gua,ya namanya kenangan,mau diapain -_-

*ciung* mungkin kata "PhotoBox" udah pada familiar di kalangan remaja ,bener kan ?
dan hampir 97% yang make cewek semua,bener ya ? ya paling tidak cowok cewek,yang biasa pacaran.nah,kebetulan pas mau photobox ngeliat slideshow yang ada di dinding,gua perhatiin dengan seksama satu-satu,ya biar mastiin kalo ada sekelompok hombreng yang juga pernah photobox w/out cewek ,dan ternyata ! #Gubrak dah ,dari sekitar 40 photo,gak ada satupun penampakan hombreng berkelompok timbul di situ,dan ini artinya,"KAMI HOMBRENG (a.k.a Homo Bareng) Pertama yang masuk dalam area Photobox Balikpapan(BC) *mungkin*

sebenarnya sih ide ini berawal dari iseng-iseng,hal gila apa lagi yang bisa anak MM lakuin untuk kali ini,dan keluar ide bodoh dari otak bodoh gua,untuk melakukan hal bodoh,yaitu "Photobox Bareng Hombreng Bahagia" :O ,that's great right ?
